The United Nations for Tibet is an organization entirely run by volunteers in over 40 countries. It was born out of despair and the total lack of action by the United Nations on the plight of Tibetans. After 60 years of repression, Tibetans have shown great perseverance with their peaceful struggle for freedom and justice with the leadership of the Dalai Lama. Education is the key to alleviating the Tibetans’ suffering, we believe that supporting young Tibetans to receive modern education and especially in STEM will ensure a thriving Tibetan community who will continue their peaceful struggle for freedom and Justice.
We currently sponsor over 40 children from the remote regions of the Himalayas to be able to attend boarding schools for higher education. Occasionally, UNFFT supports various projects to preserve Tibetan culture. With your generous help, we will be able to support more children to be able to access better schools and resources.
